… Is that it’s damn near invincible, it’s made from oil, and lingers in landfills and oceans until it gets buried or eaten up by some poor unsuspecting wildlife. It’s also inextricably tethered to consumer economy, as just about everything you buy either comes packaged in or is made of plastic itself.
